Do you ship this model in Canada? I weigh 125 pounds but my 25 year old handicapped daughter is 5’7 and weighs 185 pounds. Would that be secure? Thanks

The Greattan L is suitable for riders with a height of 5'4"–6'4", and the maximum load capacity is under 500 lbs. It should be fine for you to ride it with your daughter. Does the dual battery model use both batteries at same time or just one at a time? Do I gotta buy two extra batteries for the dual battery model?

Regarding your second question: the dual-battery model includes both batteries for extended range. You only need to buy an extra one if you want a third as a spare.

With both batteries on, they work in sequence: one drains 10-15% then rests while the other takes over, cycling between them. If only one is on, only that battery is used.

Is it possible to attach a toddler car seat to this? Something that would secure a toddler a bit better?

We donot recommend using a toddler car seat with the Greattan L. The trike comes equipped with a safety belt that ensures passenger safety. For very young children, we suggest considering our E-325 cargo electric bike, which might be more suitable. Thanks

Is it possible to get this with the 1000w mid drive or rear drive motor

Answer:

Hi, the Greattan L trike is available only with a 750W rear-mounted motor; however, its peak output can exceed 1400W. Under ideal conditions and when staying within the recommended weight limit, it can theoretically handle slopes of up to 10 degrees. Most e-trikes are capable of climbing hills of around 7 degrees, with an upper practical limit of approximately 12 degrees. Additionally, the Greattan L trike has both motor power and rider input (PAS system) —the rider and motor work together to share the load. In this sense, it is a hybrid machine that combines human power with electric assistance.

The title of the Greattan L dual battery is misleading people to think we get two batteries. Part of the reason I bought it was for the extra battery. Do I really need to spend another $699 for an extra battery after already spending $3800 for the bike?

Hi, the maximum weight capacity for the passenger is approximately 150 lbs, and for the rider, it is 350 lbs. And the trike comes equipped with a seat belt for the passenger, but it does not include a helmet.
